Red Sox Opener...Happy Easter

Brandon & Frankie are true "Citizens of the Nation"

 (that's Red Sox Nation for those not up on their MLB...)

Sure it's no Fenway, but we did still have lots of fun celebrating Easter outside this year - on the outdoor patio of Kozlaks Royal Oaks in Shoreview.

Will Frankie's good behavior convince the Petersons to become parents?

(Greg already accepts bottle feedings with no problem.)

From Chile with love

Our peanut received a "Francis" sailor hat (and handsome sweater and onesie) from his auntie Rosa Marie in Chile.  We are all so glad she was not hurt in the earthquake, and we couldn't believe the package got through.

Peanut's namesake, Francis Gilbertson, was in the Navy in WWII so it's particularly fitting!

Frankie does Duluth

We took Frankie on his first trip -  up to Duluth for 2 days where we stayed at fave spot South Pier Inn (www.southpierinn.com).  This was the day after we scrapped our entire trip to Florida -- as Brandon says, we needed to walk before we ran as far as baby travel goes!  Thanks to global warming Duluth was almost as warm as Florida.  (I hate to say it, but it's hard not to cheer on the greenhouse effect when it's 60 by the lake in March...)

Anyhoo, we kept busy!  We cruised across the Ariel Lift Bridge on foot...

 

Frankie sported his new sunhat while hanging out on the deck at the hotel...

He got carted all the way out to Park Point and back....3+ miles in the "Baby Bjorn"!

He enjoyed (? or at least tolerated...?) a bath with mom in the double whirpool tub

 

And of course, we had a big snoozefest after all that activity!
