A few from my cell phone...

Ready for the Olympics, Grandma!  I'm a ringer for Nordic Combined!

A better snapshot of the true "night crazies."

Hi Daddy!

From one of the very early days, when driving around Roseville with Frankie in the carseat passed as a hot date for Mom & Dad...

We get by with a little help from our friends!

Veteran parents Chris & Erin Farmer (dad and mom to little Jackson, age 21 months) came by to  visit today.  They brought us delicious dinner (saving us from another night of frozen pizza...) AND offered up a tip to battle Frankie's night crazies.  Apparently the only thing that worked for Jackson was to be in the sling, slouched down low with no way to see out.  So tonight (shortly after they left...) mom harnessed Frankie up and draped a blanket over his head so he couldn't see anything.  Worked like a charm, and Frankie is so zonked out mom is able to blog while he lies (in the BabyBjorn) here on my chest!  THANKS FARMERS!

Learning to snorkel on our living room floor...

Grandma Lin got Frankie a big "Neptune" play gym this week.Just like cousin Mathieu, Frankie loves lying on his back staring at (and occasionally whacking) the cute stuffed octopus that dangles overhead.

Then it's time for Tummy Time, with help from the stuffed whale (which is a gentle Blue whale...not an Orca!) as a prop.  Frankie even enjoyed TT for a bit today while Mr. Octopus was dancing in view:

But then, the noggin just gets too heavy and things go a bit south.

Tubby time

Frankie was not quite sure about the transition from the kitchen sink to bathtime in his own whale tubby at first...
But Daddy was able to convince him...
 ...even getting a smile!

(And of course Mom had to document it all so she can embarrass him someday ...you'll probably see these pictures again at his high school graduation, or wedding reception...)

TWO Grandma Dianes???

Grandma Di and identical twin Aunt Carol stopped by to visit Frankie this morning.  They love trying to confuse the grandkids with their identical good looks... "Which one is grandma???"

The night crazies!

Apparently in all cultures worldwide, babies tend to get a case of the crazies in the evening.  Frankie is no different.  Actual crazy bug-eyes are larger than they appear in this picture!

Swaddling is supposed to help...wish this picture was from crazy time but it's actually earlier in the day.  Peaceful baby-burrito time expires around 7 pm apparently.

Excited to be able to see more than 8 inches away...

Proudly bouncing into month 2 of life, Frankie now stares at the christmas lights hanging at Grandma and Grandpa's, he's started smiling a bit, and he has discovered the plastic animals dangling above his vibrating chair.  His favorite is the lion that says "Meow".

(Look at those arms and legs go!)
